Reimbursements
FBA reimbursements, counted where they belong
Reimbursements are part of what a SKU earns. Zeroth reads them from Amazon's financial ledger, includes them in your profit and posted cash, and shows the inbound shipment shortfalls you may want to raise with Amazon.
In your profit
Reimbursements from Amazon's own ledger
When Amazon reimburses you for lost or damaged inventory, the payment shows up as an entry in your financial ledger. Zeroth reads those entries and counts them in posted net and in profit, alongside sales, fees, and refunds.
Reimbursements Amazon has posted are kept apart from amounts that are still estimated, so you can see what has actually been paid.
SKU by SKU
Reimbursements credited to the SKU they belong to
When a reimbursement belongs to a product, Zeroth counts it on that SKU. It goes into the SKU's net revenue, and from there into its profit, margin, and ROI, so the SKU's numbers reflect what Amazon paid back.
In the daily cash view, reimbursements land on the day Amazon posted them, next to that day's sales, fees, and refunds.
Inbound shortfalls
Shipment shortfalls, unit by unit
Most reimbursement questions start with a shipment. For every inbound shipment, Zeroth compares the units and value you planned with what Amazon received, and lists each SKU with a discrepancy.
The shipment record keeps the carrier, documents, box, pallet, and tracking history alongside it, which is the evidence you need when you follow up with Amazon.
Returns
Refunds and returns in the same view
Refunds you paid, units customers returned to FBA, and the reasons they gave sit next to reimbursements, so you can see the full cost of returns for each SKU.
